- We started TechCastle because we believe that the major companies out there who perform computer services at customer homes are very over-priced. We believe they also are there to "upsell" the cusomter on services. The final reason is that we believe many of their technicians are not qualified to perform the services rendered - that their technicians were just people hired, trained in a classroom, and sent out with a manual and steps to follow. When we matched these beliefs to their pricing structure, we found that there was a need for an honest company with qualified technicians who would do quality work without emptying customer bank accounts.
- "TechCastle" is the name we picked due to our offered services (Tech) and our belief that customers should be treated like royalty (Castle). Plus, it is pretty snazzy, and not boring like some other company names we have heard!
- We carefully examined the pricing structure of our listed competitors, discussed among ourselves what the fair price for the service should be, and acted accordingly. In many cases, our prices were anywhere from 33% to 50% of the price of our competitors.
- No, our primary concern is to provide the best service possible at a rate that is reasonable for the service provided. Are we underselling our competitors? It may seem that we are, but we believe this is more due to the higher rates our competitors charge.
- When we come to your home or small business, we will arrive with all materials needed for the job at hand. We will enter the premises, introduce ourselves, and confirm the work we are there to perform. We will then start working on the problem, and will stay until the work is complete. Once the work is complete, we will go over exactly what we did with you to make sure you fully understand what was done. Finally we will present you with your Statement Of Service, which spells out on paper what we did. Before we depart, we will go over our guarantee with you and leave you your copy of the Statement Of Service. Our contact information will be on the Statement Of Service, in case you have any issues going forward.
- I have been performing computer services both professionally and personally since 1989. I was a computer lab assistant, then senior lab assistant, at Stetson University for 2 years. I have been working professionally in the Information Technology field since 1998. If you would like, I can send you my resume before we come to perform your services. Plus, if we were only out to take your money, our prices would be more along the same lines as our competitors. We are here for you, not for us!
- If you need to have a service performed that is not listed on our services page, please contact us. We have a wide range of expertise in-house, as well as numerous contacts who can either help us provide your service or to subcontract the service. We will work with you on the price, to ensure that the requested service can be provided to you at an affordable rate.
- We will work with practially any person or organization, though our preference is to steer away from large organizations. This includes individuals/families, small businesses, churches, schools, PTA, etc. If we can provide any services to you, no matter who you are, please contact us to see if we can help you out.
- The best way to request our services is to use the information listed on our "Contact Us" page. In the future, we will have an online appointment scheduling function, but that is still being developed in-house.
- This version of the webpage was created to get TechCastle online, and available for contact. There is another version being developed that will have a database behind the scenes which will allow us to schedule your appointments online, along with other additional functionality. Stay tuned for that site to be released, probably in Q4 2007.
